Well, it'd be nice if you made both images darker so that text is more readable. Specially the one on the post sidebar.

You guys check my post layout. It's pretty simple, but it's effective. In fact, it changes depending on the theme you use! As I'm using the Grassland theme, it's a nice pale blue color with black text. It's slightly transparent so you can see the background scenery, too. (Sorry, I had to do this. Won't happen again) New Super Mario Bros.: Clone Tag Team 1+2 / New Super Mario Advance + Take 2 / Super Mario: Endless Earth My two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart. |

NVM, you had the image linked to board.dirbaio.net, with the change to nginx the redirect was gone and the image wasn't loading. I fixed it for you.

There's still the issue with your main bar.
How are you applying the background for your post content? Are you doing it like .mainbar11 { background: url(...); } or are you using a <div> (which you shouldn't be)?

Does my new background cause the page which has my post to load slower?
It's big, I know, but it cool, so I want to have in in my layout.

To be serious, sometimes your post layout makes my notebook even lag a bit. My notebook is REALLY not powerful, but a post layout should not lag even on my notebook.
But at the time it works fine. It does not cause my laptop to lag. For instance in your Christmas layout you put so much stuff in it, that my laptop lagged all the time.

I sometimes feel the urge to ban text-shadow from the baord. It makes computers lag and doesn't look good usually.
(...says the one who's using it too) BTW I need a new cool layout. |

Yep. It really causes lag. But it does not look bad, like you said.
I need a cool one too, but I am just too lazy. And in 2 days I have school again.
