Those names are kinda silly, though. Maybe 1-Tower could be "Castle Fortress".

I think the font you made fits best because it fits in with the normal NSMB style. And also with the level/world numbers.

I think the font that RicBent made is the best 'cause it fits very well with the original NSMBDS.

I already tried the fonts mentioned by Sherry_ and  mrrikihino, but they look terrible in-game and take way to many colors and just don't look nice because they don't look NSMBDSish (I'm limeted to 256 and semitransparency isn't good in this case). That's why I used that modifyed credits font, which looks very nice IMO.

I'm going on holydays the next two weeks, so don't think that this is dieing again

I fixed and added a few things to my Level intro screens hack.



This is how a template of the intro screen look like.
The hack copies the Mario and Luigi heads, the x and the lives count to the image before displaying it.
So the credits still look OK.

Wow, that reminds me of Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii! Looks amazing in any case! I always thought having something like that in an New Super Mario Bros. hack would be really great, but I never thought I'd see it done. Great job!

I am rearranging the worlds a bit. That beach/forest world will be moved to world 1. Also I plan to show you updates and what I am working on more recent. So let's start!

This is an screenshot of world 1-2 - Waterfall Peaks. As you can see I am using the waterfalls of Newer.
I don't know if I'll change them, because they look fantastic
The backgrounds are still original ones and will be changed soon.

Thats looks really epic, you are completely right, the waterfalls are fantastic and also the way you integrated them in the tileset. The quality looks a bit bad, is it because of the zoom?

Speaking of the zoom, too bad there aren't enough tileset slots to make zoom friendly versions (although I think there is a hack to increase number of them). Maybe it would just be easier to hack the zoom, to make it better on the eyes.
