I was making a hack called Grand Super Mario Bros. I have 2 questions to ask:

1. Where are the files for the intro scene (The background, the grass tiles etc.) stored?
2. The level was working before but, I deleted it because I didn't like my previous level. And then I made a new view and made the level in the view. But, in-game, the level starts in a odd way and then, the level becomes normal after the "Mario head" animation is completed.
3. Whenever I try to walk up a slope, it stops me at the very end tile and I need to jump to get over the slope.

To 2: Maybe you misprogrammed a camera controler or something?
Or try to delete and remake the view.

I didn't use any camera controller. And I had the default view size which comes up when you make a new view. I just extended the view (Not from the top, from the right).

Just add some tiles underneath.

Or use a camera offset in the view settings.

Or make the camera higher up or taller.

Or something.

No, it didn't work. When I select the file, all I get is nothing but a grey box.

Umm no he looks for the palettes for the .bin's.  snake block you have to look in Bg_ncl for palettes which got the same name as the .bin files. Hope you find it now.

Um, no, that's not what I am asking, I am asking that how to add palettes? I found the palettes but how do we add them so I can remove that grey box?

When you click on a palette a small window opens. Down right in this window are two buttons. Click on "add all". The its done.

OK. Thanks. I will try it out.

EDIT: Nope, not working. I don't find any palette with the same name as the .bin. I saw the palettes with the same names but, they had ncl instead of ncg at the end of the name. So I clicked add on on those. And then it showed a window with a grey box, no bitmaps and 2 palettes. Nothing else happened.

Woot, thanks. Finally. And I think I fix the camera problem thanks to Hiccup.

EDIT: Wait, wait, wait. No I did NOT fix the problem with the camera. I did edit the title screen though. Thanks Arceus!

For the camera problem:

Make sure the view is at least 256 pixels wide, 192 pixels tall.
Make sure you have no scroll/camera control sprites in your level.
Make sure the camera offset settings in the view and entrance are all set to 0.
Make sure you have no empty 16x16 block near Mario. (the big blocks the editor renders in a grid). The camera will never pan into one of these, maybe causing glitches.

For the slope problem:

There's a special tile with a special behavior that you always have to place in the first tile of groudn after the high end of the slope. Look at the original levels.

OK. Thanks, Dirbaio. I will try these.

EDIT: Wait. I don't have any empty block near him, all offset settings are 0, I don't have any camera scroll sprites in my level and 256 pixels wide is too short. And 192 pixels tall is what I used first which caused the problem. Now no matter what size I make it into, it doesn't work.
