try this 34 89 58 64 it's fixed but you can't get a flower when you are fire mario

Edit:I just type in random numbers, and if I get a block somewhat useful, I change the behavior a little bit to remove other behaviors.
(I have also found a behavior of a block that hurts Mario from all sides(munchers) and a block that gives Mario a blue turtle shell. Also, I have found a block that if you hit it or ground pound on it, it will give a mushroom and if it's hit by a shell, it will give a blue turtle shell.)


Those sounds awesome. Care to share the behaviors? I too found the one that hit you from all sides, thought I forgot the behavior

a little strange behavior: 35 04 35 04 when a super mario hits it by the side, two items come out a mushroom and a blue turtle shell. Dirbaio, is it possible to make other blocks that give two items?
this is the behavior for the block that gives a blue turtle shell: 35045005

Awesome I tested it and it works. It also has a semi slope behavior on top, as its hard to ground pound it.
I also tested the blue shell one. It works. I remember when we thought such behavior didn't existed...

uh...I have 3 problem about tileset, I copy:
04 00 00 10 (Immediate death)--It doesn't work!
0C 00 00 88 (solid bottom and sides, fall through from top)--It doesn't work!
06 00 00 04 (middle fence)--It turn to coin when I touched it!
who can help me!? I don't know why?

I simplified the fall through top/solid bottom data. Use 00 00 00 40 will do it. Make sure you are using a tile in the map 16 that wasn't used in the original tileset. Look at a clean rom to verify you did not select an existing slot. Some data stays behind in the map 16 even when you delete it.

le-etle question: how do you make blocks unpassable by giant mario?(most of my ? blocks are passable with giant mario.)

If they are NOT solid The "1" 00 00 01 00 changes it to solid. Copy the byte from the wooden block, for example

Use the Tile Behavior ray also mentioned. (00 00 01 00)

Yes, the wooden block (and many others) have another byte in the behavior that makes them "breakable".

(BTW, if you didnt mean  Arisotura, why did you use the Unknown User tag? )

F in the 3rd spot is the falling donut. This is 00 30 00 00.

But you can't just change one nybble and expect a result. Different combination with the same nybble and other nybbles changes will have a different effect.
