So time has come to choose the music we will use for the NSMB Community Remix!
I've made an ASM hack that plays streamed music. This means we can use ANYTHING as music! (It's still not finished but it works awesomely! And it doesn't make the game lag at all!) Stuff we can use: For the end credits? Im going to suggest some non mario games music, to break the trope
 For deep underwater theme, or a sea rift For some kind of swamp, lakeshore area Beach theme Hope people would like them. _________________________ |

These songs are all pretty awesome. From the two castle themes, I would say the first one is definitely better and we wouldn't need both because they're remixes of the same song. I don't if we would need permission though for those remixes you posted. Those non-Mario songs are pretty nice too and I think could fit with Mario levels pretty well. Oh, also I could probably make some remixes/original songs for this if you'd like me to. Throw me some ideas and I'll see what I can do

I came up with this weird idea last night that we should write a song for the credits reel, and people who are willing to record their voices could sing or something. I had a less-extreme follow-up idea that we could record messages congratulating the player for completing the game. You could probably find a simple audio recorder with a google search. Then it depends on whether your computer has an in-built microphone. (Most laptops do these days) I think voice recordings would be better, it makes the messages more personal and can help other people see NSMBHD as a more friendly online community. (Most laptops do these days) Honestly, all built in microphones are awful, you aren't going to get a good quality recording out of them. That being said, if someone happens to have a good microphone and not know how to record from it, look up Audacity. It's a free sound editor/recorder that works pretty nice. While this sounds like a good idea, I still dunno if anyone will want to do this. |

It's something too typical to remake I can't reach Mario's whoops and such,but I can kind of imitate Mario's tone...only problem is that my voice is a little lower...and that right now I have a cold. However,I can do Luigi's voice much better.

My voice is (I think) too high for Mario's voice. And thereby, I've everything but an Italian accent.
A perfect character to voice act for me would be Yoshi, but I don't think we're going to put him in the game. I can try to practise on my Italian accent though. _________________________ I apologize to everyone for my horrible English. |
