How am I supposed to loop the sseq files? I have tried everything I could find and nothing seems to work.

If you're using Anvil Studio, you need to add "loopStart" cue at the beginning of the MIDI, and "loopEnd" cue at the end.

You can technically add a loop using Nitro Studio 2's text-based SSEQ editor, but I don't remember the command. You can just do like Ambiance said and add the loop to the MIDI before converting it with Nitro Studio using a tool like Anvil Studio. loopStart shouldn't necessarily be at the start of the MIDI by the way, just at the start of the section you want to loop, since some songs have an intro that should only play the first time.

Alright, I figured out what I was doing wrong

I had used nitro studio 2 to import my midi file, which doesn't support the loop cues, and the jump command is very annoying to work with. Nitro Studio 1 has this feature however.
