I think it was a specific activator. Look at 8-final castle to see how it's done.
But you'll also need two views for it, one rightside-up and the other upside-down. It's quite complicated. |

Oh, true. There's no view, but the level is there
We need to investigate this |

I think it can only be done in that level. I would imagine that there would be a lot of changes to make it work in a different level.

I dunno. The easiest way to test it would be exporting the 8-final castle, importing it in another level and testing it.

I guess. I might use that for World 4's castle.
EDIT: It still doesn't work. ' |

I think it may be the castle tiles that allows this swap. Some objects in tilesets contain data. The switch activates the data for the purple and green tiles. Notice that you can stand on those tiles in W-8-final castle-1. So they are hard coded already with data for solid tiles, even though in map16 they are 00 00 00 00. This may be why it only works in this level....or with this tileset.

Posted by ferret224 i think that the upside down part doesnt have a view because it take the "first view" and mves it along with mario over to reverse though i could be wrong AWWW. Please do not bump such old threads like this one is. Thanks. |
