i have been hacking mario bros and world for a long time, and now I thought I wanted to take on the challenge of Mario and Luigi partners in time, does someone know where I should start?

there's only one editor for Partner in Times and it's Yoshi Magic. it's mostly a Superstar Saga editor and PiT support is quite incomplete. It can still edit some stuff though.

Used it before to edit BIS but wont save changes

BIS support is even more incomplete than PiT support so no surprise here.
