I am making a new rom hack and need to make Luigi the main character, so I extracted my rom and renamed Luigi's files to Mario and Mario to Luigi (would that even work?) but I can't find a way to pack my files back to a rom. Does anybody know a way? (I already tried using dslazy but that didnt work)

If you want to Luigi to be the main player instead of Mario, there's an ASM Hack that can be applied to your rom here

Yeah but then you'd have to replace the sound effects and graphics n stuff to Mario's

It's easier to just use the ASM Hack.
