I redid 1-3 today, and when Mario spawns, he dies and MvsL music starts to play. UGH. The entrance ID's are all 0. View is 0. Starting Entrance is set to 0. Why is this happening?



And I give you all the right to call me a moron if the problem is right in front of me.

By the way, the Piranha plants are set that way because they're upside down thanks to ASM.

EDIT: Nevermind, it magically works now. What the heck lol

Thought I'd post this on this thread since there's no point in creating another one. I made another level in 8-2. A cavern level, and as far as testing went, it worked fine until I added stuff after the checkpoint. Now, from the start of the level, when Mario enters the pipe, the screen stays black. It's ticking me off. I didn't touch the entrance and it worked just fine earlier. I have zoom sprites, but that has nothing to do with it. All I have is buzzy beetles and piranha plants, plus lava and that's it. There's nothing else here. Nothing should be causing the game to crash.

Any ideas?

I remember this also happened to me. I was making a level using the swingable vines, but when the first vine would load in, the game would crash. I don't know if any other sprites also do this, but I solved the vine problem by just deleting the first one.
