These all require ASM. Cutscene-skipping is definitely possible with the right instructions, but maps... Yeah, you can't add a new world or modify the maps efficiently yet, sadly.
Only about 4 people have been able to (very minorly) modify the world map so far. Only a few nodes and such. And noone so far has been able to add a brand new world to the game. It's all possible with ASM, but it's extremely complicated and requires you to program new things at machine-level. You can only really modify these things without extreme complex measures: --- Levels (Easy, just open the ROM and click on something to modify levels) Textures (Go to the filesystem browser, you can modify textures from there. I made a tutorial on world map textures, linked at the end of this post[1].) Tilesets (Shouldn't be that hard. Just ask if you're having trouble, this place is for support, but it should be pretty straightforward.) Models (which are quite advanced to modify in themselves) Music (Intermediate) |

Also, if I make an entrance, how to edit the place that that entrance leads to? ALSO also, How do I get Red Koopas? I don't know about the first question, but for the second one, all you need to do is drag the little entrance box to wherever you want the entrance to be.
For your third question, when you click on a Koopa, an option appears in the top-right corner to change the Koopa's color. |
