This hack is a bit of a port of Super Mario Run that's coming out this year

This is my first hack

Features:

One ASM hack on titlescreen!

Cool, one thing though, you have to keep the Nintendo Copyright because you didn't make NSMBds, Not trying to backseat mod just saying.

Also, are you just recreating the levels or using ASM to make Mario always run?

Well the thing is I don't have a ASM Hack to make Mario run it might go in not sure because i have changed the star coin colour pink just like the iPad/iPhone so yea

Hello ConorDoesHacks

A game of this type is a very interesting idea. Once you will do not use ASM to force Mario run, I presume that you will explore the sprite 218 (Auto-Scrolling) on the levels, yes?

That would be a good use for the sprite 218. Levels of this type are quite feared by some players because it significantly increases the level of difficulty.

On the other hand I would be very happy to find a one world mini-hack with all levels designed with auto-scrolling.

However, was found no link to download the patch to try it yet.
Have you intend to provide a demo for the community to play?
If yes, when you plan to give us the pleasure of having the opportunity to play it?

Yes I do want the ASM hack to make Mario run I have your hacks played your and they asm so can you help put the mario run code into my rom if you can I give you the nds file from um.. PM?

Just set up ASM hacks like you normally would but paste mariomaster's ASM hack into a new file in "source" folder called runhack.s (or whatever.s)

The “DS” in the title is too small and the touch screen background, although nicely done, is somehow freaky, in my opinion.

Wrong. It's C++ code. Put it into a file with the extension ".cpp".

Hello ConorDoesHacks,

I'm just a humble simple user like you, with normal skills.
I don't know the existence of ASM code, at the time of this post, which allows Mario to run involuntarily to the right, when the level starts.
Perhaps the master Skawo; or Mariomaster himself or even MeroMero, could give this solution. But it will take some time to code, I belive.

I did my homework and I made a previous gameplay to test this mini-hack. The version used for this gameplay is 2016.10.23.

I can say in advance that this hack is quite promising. The idea of ​​seeing the design of similar levels, ported to DS was very exciting to me.

But this version presents the levels without auto scrolling. It would be very interesting if we could see these levels using at least the sprite 218. You could copy the basic idea from level 1-A, area 2. Stretching the nodes of the path you can make the screen move up or down during the auto scroll.

Is it possible change the star to other colors, such as green for example? The chosen tileset fit perfectly to the mood of the game. However, some details can be improved. Music and sounset selected to level 1-1 is not allowing to hear some sounds, like the sound of jump. Could you check?

Another very good point is the design. Excellent. But upon arriving at the level of the tower, I just did not understand what was to do. The tileset is kind of weird and I could not complete the level. Could you look it?

- level design
- playability
- the hack was shared
the bad:
- some tiles with strange color (1-T)
- music on view with wrong soundset (1-1, change "7" to "6")

- purple fireball

But, the hack was shared to the community so, members can play it.
