You have to modify these graphics:

BG_ncg folder:
  • d_2d_TEN_A_J_jyotyu_ncg.bin (this is the animation for when it's hit).

  • obj folder:
  • A_block_ncg.bin (this is the normal animation).
  • A_block_hahen_ncg.bin (these are the shreds).

  • I could not…

How did you solve it? I still have a problem. Now the bricks/? blocks show correctly, but the "Mario Clear!" text when you finish a level is fucked up.

You do open all the bitmaps from the list along with the jyotyu palettes at the same time right? And after that? Do I import and recreate palette? Do I keep the existing palette? I'm lost.

It depends. If you are having problems only with the words "Mario Clear", open that NCG file, the Jyotyu Palette, and click on "Import bitmap without recreate palette."

Alright. Ima try that. But how can I change that NCG file without f*cking up the other jyotyu files? Up until whenever I change something, something else changes too. Maybe because I had all the files opened at the same time. Idk.

    Good

    Good

    Wtf?

Also, Should I leave "Auto-palette select" on?

    thanks.

If you don't change the palette, the other files won't be affected. So if you were to import a .png of the clean "Mario Clear" text using "Import bitmap with existing palette", all should be well.

You might also want to test the "Luigi Clear" text too.

Problem solved my friends. Thanks to all of you. If I didn't mess up the palettes in the first place I wouldn't have had to search so far hahaha. On a fresh untouched ROM, I just imported the bitmaps I wanted to change (like the ones with the blocks and bricks) without changing the palettes and it worked first try.
