I've been trying to work on hacking 2-3 for my hack, but there's some problems with it. Even in it's far from finished stage, the level crashes when I go to Area 2. Here's the Level: Area 1: http://www.mediafire.com/?27x99x8kmi33h7k Area 2: http://www.mediafire.com/?9cvo20920cqgaq0 What I'm planning on is having different entrances into area 2. Because I haven't created the second entrance yet, when you go through the Right Pipe in Area 1 the game will crash, right now that's supposed to happen. The problem is the Left Pipe. I'm confident I've set up the entrances properly, and the game still crashes when I go into it. I have deleted all the invalid sprites. Could someone here give me a second opinion on the problem? maybe someone here will spot something I missed. Thanks in advance. I have downloaded, included them but I really don't know what exactly you mean?
There are 2 pipes, both are redirecting you to the same view in area2, one comes out in the left and the other one comes out from right pipe! (PS: You cannot escape this room) So what? Edit:\ You have set the wrong VIEW ID in entrance 1 in area 2... (or your view should be expanded more so it has both sections included...) Edit2:\ After expanding the view, everything works fine. No crashes... |
