In New Super Mario Bros. on the DS, Mario reaches the flagpole, goes down, then says something before going into the castle to put up the flag. What is he saying? This requires some serious Featherland discussion.

I honestly think he is saying "Texas-onize!" or "I like them on ice!", but I'm not sure.

"That's-a so nice!"

I've been listening to that guy talk since 1997.

In the Korean version of NSMB, the voice of Mario is slightly different, but everything is still said in English, and you can definitely hear Mario say "That's a so nice!".

I thought it was something like 'Bacon tonight!' (for dinner).

But I soon realised it was 'That's a so nice!'.

For luigi, my friend told me that he says "The ants Luigi!" In English it doesn't sound like it at all, but in french: "Les fourmi Luigi!"

If you pronounce it right it should sound like it.

However, I now know that he says "Yay for me, Luigi!"

For Luigi, it always sounded like "Yeah/yay for me, Luigi!" to me.

It is because the actors who play out Mario and Luigi have a foreign accent that is hard to interpret. Honestly, I never payed attention to what they say afterwards.

I'm pretty sure that Mario says, “That's-a-all nice!” Luigi seems to say, “Yay for me, Luigi!” If you slow down the voice by 10 Hz and de-compress the sound wave, you can clearly hear what they say. Use Audacity and hear for yourself.

The heck? Both Mario and Luigi are played by an American. The same one.

And honestly, the things they say aren't hard to interpret at all. It's "That's-a so nice!" and "Yay for me, Luigi".

Wario and Waluigi are also voiced by that same American.

Are there any other sentences in the game, or is this the longest thing Mario or Luigi actually say?

Pretty sure that NSMBDS has the largest lack of voice acting since voice acting became a thing in Mario. Everything else just uses generic Mario sound effects.
