Ok, this is a small suggestion, but it might go a big way. When using the online users page, any user can see what thread a different user is viewing. Normally, this isn't a problem, but normal users can see staff threads there, and see their names. Maybe it could be possible that we could only see the thread number and not the name?

Hm, just thinking. What if function like requires_powerlevel() would be introduced (to replace old powerlevel checks). It could be used to specify powerlevel for online list. Of course, I'm not ABXD developer, so I'm not going to introduce such check, but I like this idea.

Or, we could allow only normal users and up to view the online page. So unregistered and banned users can't use it

Hmmm yes, I adrealy used this way to get a important link, but It say "You're not allowed to browse in this forum. So, this is not useful.

This can also be a problem with the URL system implemented here. If, for example, you go to http://nsmbhd.net/thread/679/ you can see what the thread title is even though you can't see the thread.

I think the "Online users" page should just be deleted. There's no real use for it unless you're stalking someone, in which case it still doesn't have much use. Or at the very least it should be hidden to everyone except Full Mods, Admins and Roots. If we want to know who's online, we can just check the top of any page anyway.
