NSMB DS is my favorite. This is actually the first Mario title I've played, so It's always loved it. Me and my brother still enjoy the VS levels today. I enjoyed NSMBW a lot too. When I visited my cousins for Christmas one year all we did was play it 4 players trying to collect every Star Coin. NSMB2 is just not as fun as the other two, and tilesets are just.... recycled. NSMBU looks amazing and might tie with NSMB DS in my opinion, but I haven't played it yet...

I like all NSMB games very much, but I like them in order that they are made. NSMBU is #1.

I like the original NSMB, but I feel that the level design is basically bland re-adaptions of SMB3 and SMW levels.

NSMBW has much better level design, though it is my least favourite NSMB because of the terribly slow feel of the physics combined with how small Mario is on the screen making it harder to make precise jumps, which makes it unneccesarily hard at times.It's the only Mario game I never bothered to 100% Complete.

NSMB2 felt like the level design style of NSMBW/SMB3 Combined, but without all the things I dislike about NSMBW. NSMB2 is my favourite NSMB so far.

As for NSMBU, I've played 2 levels so far at a demo station, I'm impressed by it, but I can't judge it until I've played it properly.

So NSMB2 wins for me.

I will consider NSMBWii fairly easy but however,it resembles a lot to NSMB2.Since NSMBWii was not based off of NSMBDS it had presented a good impression.I chose NSMBWii as favorite not only because it has presented a good impression but also about the co-op design.
