this is probably a really nooby question but in some posts i see that it has some kind of background. but i was wondering i do i add a background to my posts

It's called a post layout. You should learn some basic CSS before making one.

Oh, you mean post layouts? You need CSS (styling) to make them. It's a sort of code language, but it's not a true code.
Most experienced people here could just give you a code allowing you to insert a random background to your posts, but honestly it's not worth it. CSS is not actually hard, so it would be a shame if you don't get to learn what stuff does and have everything handed to you on a silver platter. |
