I've been trying to get the patches for NSMB5 to work for several hours now, but I keep getting reports that they aren't working. It's like they get corrupted when I upload them, no matter what uploader I use. I've tried EVERYTHING I can. The only solution I can think of is to release the game pre-patched, but then I can't post it here. I am so furious right now. The patch only fucks up when I've uploaded it, it works fine before uploading. Please can someone help me. I can't think of anything else to do.

I wonder, what have you used to make the patch? Only comes in mind xdelta or the .nmp that the editor gives.
EDIT: nvm, I downloaded the folder and checked you included both. Will test in an emulator.
Also, have you tried to upload them in different servers? It seems weird it gets corrupt when you upload it.

It worked for me. I patched the .nmp patch with the included NSMBe version, and ran it in DeSmuMe 0.9.7. I'm not sure why people would be having problems, maybe it is incompatible with certain flash cards?

Maybe its that. If its a .nmp, the way the editor patches the games might be the problem in some flashcards. Cant test with my TTDS because I dont have an SD ATM. EDIT:NVM, I found out that my smartphone used an SD card, testing right now.

I tested the .nmp and it works fine on No$GBA. Unfortunately, I cant test xdelta because I cant get it to work on WIn7

EDIT: So I found an SD to use and it works fine on TTDS. So I dont know whats causing the problem...

EDIT2: So I wasnt sure if the ROM I used was clean (since I have lots of them), so I downloaded a clean rom from the internet and now it crashes when I apply the .nmp and dosnt work any more on the emulator. Weird thing is that it worked previously woth the other ROM, Which I recall, wasnt sure it was clean (my best bet was not), so the weird part is that it works on a modified rom, but not on a clean ROM, which seems silly.

EDIT3:I seem to found the problem.

The problem is the version of the editor you used. I tried the newest 327 version and it works fine. Even when applying the patch, it only changed 579 files, while the version you included changed 580. Haven't tested the xdelta.

Im going to test again with another rom.

But I'm relieved that the patch can work.

Don't worry about that. Being as hopeless as I am with title screen editing, I asked Gerry to do it for me under my instruction, but he couldn't get rid of those black dots. The logo is meant to be up in the top left corner.

Oh ok. Now I can finally play the game
So it seems to work now. The game don't crash when I enter them, so as I said previously, it was an older(?) version of the editor you included to patch the game. (can anyone else test to see if that was the problem?)

well revision 227 makes the patch work, but the one you put in the nsmb 5 pack stops the game from working.

Well it seems I got it right...
I wonder why using an older version caused that? Maybe because the game was used with the latest version?

I already played to World 8 and 8-4 (or 8-5? The one after the first castle ) is bugged. If the cannon shoots ypu up, ypu bump onto a wall and nothing happens.
