Important Notice!Instead of making everyone think that this hack will progress, I bluntly say that it will not. Old Retro Mario Bros. is CANCELLED. I'm terribly sorry that I'm saying this, but the truth is, my brother and I have lost interest in this and never progressed anywhere. It was on hiatus for TWO YEARS! Did we even start on World 3? No, we always had problems with the hack, such as the game freezing in the beginning in the game due to a malfunctuned edited enemy. Old Retro Mario Bros. may never be revived, but I will say this, anyone can take this project and finish it themselves. I don't think I deserve credit after all I did, but I'd like to see what I would have done if I had completed it. All of what you need to finish this, if you desire, can be found in Beta 2. |

If it's cancelled, I have to trash it. I kinda wish we had a kind of graveyard for all the cool hacks that were never finished.

There's no need to trash cancelled hacks. There's still a download here, and people may still want to download and play the finished part.
