@Ray i've been searching over the mario's model composition with wordpad, and i've found each name of mario's bones, models and textures(the bones are the same from the SM64DS mario model):

models: mario_model(super), small(mini)
textures: mat_body(standard), mat_body1(fire), mat_body3(white starman), mat_body4(unknown)

bones(i've used the NSMB minigame mario model as example):

(oops, i've swapped the r1 arm with the r2, remember, the order from the mario's body to his hand is 2 to 1

I've been knowing this for some years already. Console Tool allowed proper view of NSBMD models with their bones. The problem was to recreate those bones. I never took the time to understand how to link bones to model parts in Maya.

I've no idea what levels I've already shown footage of, so I just post 2 random images:

Your screenshot you put in first post is not working. Can you reupload the picture?

EDIT:You meant the ones in the first post... They doesn't work for me too...

By the way,I know that I'm not  ray, but on its personal channel (RaphaelCWGames) I've found a footage of 5-Tower...and actually I don't saw any post showing it here,so I think that it wouldn't be bad if I post it here...

Watching these videos again reminds me of how good your level design in this hack is/was.

Sorry for being staff-like, but I would like to say:
To prevent this, read completily the text you have in front of you, and two times if you thinks you have missed a part.

Hope this prevents useless posts.

Now I gets back on-topic.

The hack looks nice, but remaking the body would be pratically useless. It's not easy, and would just make a smaller player.

I uploaded them on imagesload, which does not exist anymore. So my images are gone and I do not have them anymore, so I can't reupload them. Sorry.

Funny, I completely forgot about this one.

Try to make the first port with the separated bones, ala SM64 , i have no idea about the bones connection or maya, try to search an tutorial for that(maya doesn't have one?)

Great screenshots as always, You might consider updating the first post , because image links are dead and I guess the progress is not up-to-date as well. Excellent work !

It makes the enemy spawn like if it was unfreezing them?

Wow, very cool and creative!

Maybe you could try to make the ice blocks not look like ice ground, but ice blocks?

We use the frozen enemies in different ways too, not just for this. Sometimes we add it to levels just for decoration.
And we are not really like making a new tile only for this. I dunno.

What happens, when you place the Sprite "Sea Weed" in an overworld jungle level?
You get awesome looking bushes that are animated and blend perfectly with the ground.

Seriously, why didn't anybody ever think about this?
