EDIT: You should put the toad symbol for the lives instead of just the word toad

The toad symbol... You know, its really hard to edit that mario head in Tile Molester with no colors So I just wrote "Toad"
I cant edit it in NSMBe because its a unknown file format (.nce.bncd)

 ray, there are some things you can improve on:
-Climbable trees are kind of annoying
-Climbable tree sounds don't seem to match its material
-Red flying block in W1-2 is not reachable

I don't have much since my emulator runs really slowly so I kept dying on W1-2

Okay, here comes a long list of thoughts that come to my mind while playing:

1-1:
- You need a better sound for Toad triple-jumping
- YOu need a better way of indicating that Toad has fireflower. Swapping white and red in his head is not enough. You gotta add orange or something so it's more visible.
- It's annoying that you can grab in trees, you're jumping and get stuck in them.

1-2:
- Change the groundpound entrance! It looks too much like the original!
- The red flying ? block is stuck in the wall.
- The second giant wiggler is a bitch. You should raise the ceiling a bit, or prevent him to come out of the poison water.
- If you're fire toad and fall on the poison water, Toad's mushroom head glitches (becomes brown!?)
- Camera glitches in the "top" part at the beginning of the level if you jump.
- SERIOUSLY, the wigglers are all dicks.
- More camera glitches
- There's a part, where you have to go up, or right for the secret exit. If you go up, the camera "snaps up" so you can't go down again, you die. WHY!?

1-3:
Skipping it because I found the secret exit first.

1-Tower:
- Cool, a wraparound tower.
- Love the place when you have to walljump wrapping around the screen.
- No music!?
- Firebar damage area wraps around the screen, but the graphics don't. Avoid putting firebars next to the edge of the screen!
- The string near the door at the top is glitched.
- Avoid the part with the timed activators. It's not even obvious what's going on. ANd it's easy to fall behind, so you have to go and make annoying crazy jumps. Not fun at all.

1-4:
- Red coin ring spawning normal coins, wtf. I was expecting red coins. Plz don't repurpose items in non-intuitive ways, it's not good level design.
- Right after that ring there's a long empty area...
- Whoa I love the camera trick to hide the secret pipe
- More empty area...

1-5:
- Invisible vine block in a random place!? derp.
- When Toad comes out of the pipe after getting the star coin, you can see the wings.
- The moving mushroom platform. HOW am I supposed to know I gotta run fast to grab it at the other side of the platform!? It even goes out of screen so I didn't even see it...
- Derp, game over.



Soo...
What you got here is a really impressive hack when it comes to the technical part, but you gotta improve your level design a bit. Avoid activators and weird similar things as much as you can, and avoid "surprises" the player has no way to know, like the moving mushroom in 1-5.

Entrance: Okay, but I want to use the same entrance, so I'll just edit the level there.
? Block: :facepalm:
Second wiggler: Okay
Toad Head: Yepahh... Thats the problem I posted in Ruedajv's hack and I still dont know how to fix that. I cant find the palette (or colors) from which the game loads it...
Camera: Yeah, I tried out the camera sprites there, but I failed. Its hard
Wigglers: Erm english fails, you mean I should remake the level because the Wigglers suck?
Moar camera: Yup, sorry
Snap up: Its because you would see the star coin and the secret exit maybe if I wouldnt do that xD Have to find another solution...

1-3:
Too bad Its a nice level

1-Tower:
No music: Shit, backgrodund and area stuff. The level files have still unknown settings. In 2-Tower the music works, going to fix that.
Firebar: Dafuq??? Never noticed it -.-
String: What do you mean with "buggy"?
Activator: Okaay, going to remove it and rebuild that area

1-4:
Ring: Wanted to do something new, but I already found a solution for this. I often made zones were randomly coins fall from the sky (Or out of pipes... just play W2 )
empty area: hey, there's a koopa xD And you cant always fill the level with stuff and moar stuff And its world 1, come on. It should be easy
Moar empty area: Same as above

1-5:
Vine: Shit, good or not? I can edit that place...
Wings: I'm sorry, unfixable bug I dont think that is something that bothers you all time, so I just leave it as it is
Mushroom: Fuck, you already told me that before and I didnt fix it :facepalm:

Yes you should remove hanging in trees.

About the wigglers...
It's not that bad, at last I got through.
The really annoying thing is when you jump too late on the wigglers and they come out of the water. Then it's IMPOSSIBLE to make them go back to the water so you can go through.

So what you could do is make vertical walls instead of slopes when there's poison water, so they can't come out. Like thi: =__= instead of this: \__/

Yea, the strings you can walk on sometimes bug and go crazy sideways. I got it before going into the door that leads to the star coin. When I came back they didn't glitch anymore... I don't think it's fixable, maybe it's caused by the fact that the level is wraparound.

About the empty areas: Yea, world 1 should be easy. but not EMPTY. Even original levels aren't empty, there's always a way to fill space. Pipes, blocks/bricks, holes in the ground, enemies.

Music is nice, it's not very Mario-ish but it fits the levels well enough.
And the edited menus and bottom screens and all are cool too, they make the hack look different

Now, if you get better at level design, this hack will be the best thing ever.
