I'm making a new hack called Mario and Luigi™ The New Adventure! This will have game many things never used before in nsmb.

I don't think Hiccup was being rude. He was just being honest. One thing you've got to expect when making a hack is criticism.

i'm just saying that i might take a small break before making world 2, also i might do things differently like i made world 1, then world 9 before world 2. and im thinking of making a sm64ds hack

Then just keep trying... I needed one year to fully learn Music hacking. At first I was only able to do the things in the tutorial, but later I learned much more.
