How about everybody who knows ASM could make a ASM file replacer/adder?
Like patches, custom blocks and sprites in SMW. |

NSMBe already imports patches. It's under the Tools/Options tab. Not sure what you mean by importing blocks and sprites, but you already can make custom tilesets and import/export them. Also, this is the wrong thread to ask. |

What i mean is like if you've ever played a SMW hack you have custom blocks and sprites |

If you mean custom graphics for blocks and sprites, yes it's possible. They can be done by finding their .ncg and .ncl in the filesystem. See this thread: http://nsmbhd.net/thread/24-tutorial-editing-ncg-files-with-nsmbe-5-2/. EDIT: I forgot to mention that sometimes it is hard to find their .ncg and .ncl. Some can be found in the obj folder, some in enemy, and it gets confusing. But, if you look for the sprite you want to edit in the sprite database and look under sprite information. Usually you can find them listed there. |

snuggles08: Before saying something, make sure you know what you're talking about. This conversation doesn't make sense. Stop it.
And NSMB hacking has NOTHING in common with SMW hacking. |

"- Flying powerup PARTLY DONE. For now it's physics are shit and it's ugly as shit. We'd need someone to replace Shell Mario with Raccoon Mario with some model haxes"
Sorry if I am bumping or something but couldn't you replace the "Un-Fire Mario" power up? |

That thing is not a "real powerup", it's more like a "glitch" caused by altering values in RAM to something the game doesn't expect... So no, I don't think so.

Oh thanks since The Cutting Room Floor wiki or what ever its name is. Says its a unused power up like Too Huge Mario(?).

Posted by TCRF It's unclear if these are actually intended to be new powerups, or they are just glitches resulting from modifying the player state in RAM, although it's probably the latter. This needs investigation. |

A hammer suit power-up could be cool. This power-up hasn't been in a side scrolling Mario game since SMB3, I think.
Also the hammer model is already in the game. |
