it seems like 1 year after mkw's release, mk8dx has not died down in popularity, and idk why, but i tend to play 8 deluxe over world. both are rlly good (and this is not another mkw hate thing), but i just seem to play 8 deluxe more (for many reasons), even thou this:

my mkw playtime: 120hrs
my mk8dx playtime: 450hrs since 2021

what do you think

I've booted up 8DX once since World dropped.

Honestly I think I would play it more if my friends hadn't sold 8DX in the span of waiting for Switch 2 lol.

To be honest I still play it, I may wait for Mario Kart World to get more tracks until I wanna get it, not to mention the fact I don't have the Switch 2 maybe because it's overpriced and has like 2 good games, so all-in-all yes, I still play MK8DX.

yeah. tbh, mkw has soo little content for $60 compared to 8dx which is $20 less. Look at just base 8dx, u have:

- 48 tracks
- 5 modes, 8 unique maps for battle mode
- then had the bcp ($25) in ~2021-2023 almost doubling the content to 96 tracks
- just $60 ($85 including bcp)

and world
- 30 tracks (not even 32?)
- lame battle mode at launch.
- 80 and $90 physicaly !

i still play online, but i feel like current updates (1.7.0 adding 2 ko rallies, 6 more to come) are stuff that should've been in 1.0.0 (release date) where as in 8dx, i GRINDED it singleplayer on switch 1 due to the insane replaybility and content available.
