I have a question:
can i keep doing my thread as is? because so far, i cannot release nothing because my sprites, levels, BGs, etc. are unstable. why? because somethimes i think, hm i think this doesn't look good, so i delete it. so could i? _________________________ |

Nah, I just want to keep this forum interesting. I don't want it to be full of threads like "Hey look I'm going to make this awesome hack, here's a screenshot of the first level". It's quite disappointing.

Also there's a fact that if they have something to release it shows dedication. Dedication = Higher Possibility of Completion. I usually wait for the final versions of any hack before downloading. But seeing as there are only 2 Finished NSMB Hacks currently (one of them my own) I've had to make exceptions. New Super Mario Bros.: Clone Tag Team 1+2 / New Super Mario Advance + Take 2 / Super Mario: Endless Earth My two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart. |

If you use the dump .avi function in DeSmuMe, video will always be outputted at full speed. The speed of your computer won't effect the final recording at all.

Also try record a movie file (dsm) first to record the level faster and in a smaller file, then play the dsm and record the avi. That way you will have less slowdown while playing. |

Yea, you have to choose a good codec becaus if not, the resulting video file is huge and the computer lags because it has to write soo much data to disk.
If you choose a codec you'll solve your both problems
