I remember there being a level editor for specifically Newer Super Mario Bros. DS, but I cannot find it anywhere here anymore.
Is there a link still to it where I can download it? The normal NSMBe won't open the ROM from Newer DS, gives me an index outside of bounds error. |

Newer SMBDS cannot be opened in specific versions of NSMBe 5.2 and above. I don't think there is a editor designed for Newer DS Editor. Revisions such as rev. 379 and bellow seem to work. But why hack with Newer DS as base rom? It has many disatvantages if you look at some old threads (which i am lazy to list sadly) when compared to using a fresh NSMBDS rom.

I'm not here to make a custom level or hack, just to look at the levels from Newer DS for a challenge video I'm working on.
I do remember there being an editor with a special window for the actor spawner, but I'll do with the regular editor for now. Thanks for the tip anyway! |

Mr L36 and I are developing an editor for Newer DS, possibly to be released in September or October.
