I know you can make custom worldmap node layouts with the NSMB worldmap editor, and since Toad Houses can just be placed anywhere, does this include Blue Toad Houses? I want to place it after Bowser's Castle, in W8 (you probably already know where I'm going with that). Also, just asking for lulz, can there be more than one Blue Toad House in a world?

i know you can replace the model and i think you can replace the levels if thats what you mean
edit: you can use the old editor to change the icon and the area to the one used on the original level as well

No, I mean placing the Blue Toad House's worldmap node to a whole nother world, so that it appears to the right of Bowser's Castle after beating the game, instead of North of W1-1. But I will change the Blue Toad House's worldmap model anyway, since it won't be a Blue Toad House anymore.

You would have to use Goombatlas and some code patches, it’s a bit in depth but it’s definitely possible with the right amount of patience

I'ma import some of the olde ASM patches anyway (some intriguing ones are in the Misc. patches thread, like one that loads different pipe graphics based on the level and one that changes the blast force of cannon pipes), so I'll look into that anyway. And I heard Goombatlas can indeed be hard to master, but at least I can model, I come from the SM64DS hacking scene.

Yeah, Goombatlas is a little tricky but once you’ve played with it it’s pretty easy to get things rolling quicker. And trust me, modeling skills are the greatest thing you could ask for when working with world maps, that’s like 75% of the required effort you need
