The files are somewhere in the UIStudio folder. I don't remember which ones exactly, but there's one for being in a level and one for being on the world map. It should have the words "1P Menu" something in the titles.

If it was for MKDS, you should've specified and placed this in the "General Rom Hacking" category. This is mainly for NSMBDS.
