![]() So I'm an idiot. I hear people mention the U version of the ROM when talking about ASM hacks. What's the U version of the ROM? |

U means US(A). It's the American release of the NSMB DS game. There's different releases for Europe (the "E or EU ROM"), Japan and Korea.
The ROM versions are slightly different from each other. That's why some stuff like hacks that modify the code of the game ("ASM Hacks") often only work for certain versions, e.g. only the U ROM. |
