I recently retextured world 4 and 5 so world 4 is snowy and world 5 is jungle. I swapped the music and there's no sound effects! The jungle theme won't play on world 5, and there's no sounds! Also, after I swapped them, Desmume says that the Rom's header size is invalid or something. Does anyone know why this is?

hey uh, did you perhaps replace the worldmap SBNK and SWAR? all worlds share the same soundbank slot.
rereading what you said, did you merely swap the world4 and world5 sseq? does it reverse if you swap them back? if not, then your problem stems from somewhere else. |

I havn't tried placing them back into their places yet. And yes, I only swapped sseq's.
Edit: No it didn't help. Maybe it's something to do with swapping the world map models. This happened right after I swapped tree models and textures and the music. I don't know what the deal is! Another Edit: I tried a fresh sound_data file and still the same. The warning message before the ROM launches states: The ROM header is invalid. The device size has been increased to allow for the provided file size. I only have Desmume open. It's still the same
If you want, I can send you an .nmp of the rom and you can take a look. The .sdat that's in it includes lots of custom tracks, and I swapped the W4 and 5 music files back and there's still no sound effects _________________________ Discord Server 1 - Discord Server 2 - Youtube Channel |
