Cloudy SMBU is (probably) going to be the first complete New Super Mario Bros U hack/mod, released to the Public!

This hack will contain:

-24+ New Stages
-New and returning Mario music
-Tons of new tilesets/level themes
-A few retextured enemies/objects

Progression:

The hack is done and has eben updated to version 1.1

Doesn't matter how good this hack is. If he gives us more trailers with DKC music I just love it anyways.

@poudink yeah, I made this thread store that hack was released or even announced, and didn't bother to update it

@Ricbent yup that's the mentality, IMO DKC Tropical Freeze is one of the most underrated games ever made, especially it's music

Even if this is going offtopic:

DKC TF is imo the best game ever created, criminally underrated and underplayed. It's the fate of the Wii U. A game meant for core gamers on a console aimed at casuals just didn't work sadly.
And the Donkey Kong Country Soundtrack has to be one of the best ones in the industry.

Let's just hope they finish the new trilogy on the switch and maybe even port the existing games. The Switch's audience is clearly far older and more core than casual aka the perfect fit for a DKC.

While I wouldn't say it's the best game ever, I do agree that Tropical Freeze is an underrated gem. Nintendo should port it to the Switch. The game deserves another chance. Maybe a port next year, and a brand new game in 2019/2020? Whatever the case, I wonder what Nintendo will do next. I know this is a pipe dream, but I'd love to see the next DKC game be a crossover with Mario platforming, with the player being able to switch between Mario and Donkey Kong at will. Just think of the possibilities that could come from combining the two platforming styles!

Anyways, that hack looks pretty cool. I like the cloud theme!
