Sometimes when I place a sprite down in the editor, it's shaded red. Some sprites are like this on certain levels, but are just fine on others. What does that mean?

You need to enable the sprite in the sprite sets

You can find the sprite sets in the level parameters.
You can compare the sprite sets used in different kind of levels, if you want to see examples of thier usage. The reason why they relied those is because of the DS's limitations. You can find much more detail from typing "sprite sets" into the search page. |
