Hello everybody
im new in the forum and i need little help with one stuff
I making custom level (Bowser's water castle) and i wanna change splash effect (From lava to Water)
but i don't know how to change (I experiments with the Bowser replacing Dry Bowser in 8-Castle (He falls in the lava is appear lot of dust with stars instead lava)

And of course experiment level editing (Change boss from dry Bowser to normal Bowser)

For starters welcome to the board.
Second, I believe that Bowser's lava effects are the same as the fire ball effects used by Mario/Luigi, but I'm not sure...

All the effects are located in the particle folder and use Mario Kart DS course editor to open the .spa files.

Really? But i see in the boss battles using the fireball but animation is diffient than lava splash/star dust

The lava effects for Bowser are in the particle folder by the name spl_b01_kpa.spa, and the effect is number 6 (Splash).
But I'm not sure if they can be edited at the moment.

Unless you want to go all out like  ray and Freeze (can't be bothered finding user number) did in the past, digging through every bit of hex they could to work out map editing.
