I'm not able to paste text in the Hex code of a file. Let me make this clear using a screenshot and some quote by MeroMero.

Blue Shell for Newer Super Mario Bros: (Take 2)

_Decompress arm9
_Paste this at offset 0×1A50
90 6A 1B 02 7C 71 1B 02 50 B3 08 02 44 E3 12 02 00 40 2D E9 1C 60 1F E5 18 70 1F E5 00 70 97 E5 00 00 57 E3 04 70 A0 13 40 00 00 EA 00 80 BD E8 C0 00 2D E9 F5 FF FF EB 06 00 51 E1 05 00 00 BA 00 00 50 E3 06 00 A0 B1 00 00 60 B2 06 00 A0 A1 C0 00 BD E8 D2 3D 04 EA C0 00 BD E8 D2 3D 04 EA C0 00 2D E9 E9 FF FF EB 00 00 50 (...)

I wanted to set this code in ARM9 using a Hex Editor, but then this happened.

When I paste the code, the code gets pasted in the ASCII code, while it should be pasted into the Hex code. No matter if I select a nybble in the Hex column, the code still gets pasted in the right column, which causes the Hex code to become different than the code in MeroMero's post. I already have tried several Hex editing programs, like UltraEdit, NotePad++ and the NSMBe build-in Hex editor, but no luck. Does anyone here know a program that does allow you to paste text into the Hex code?

I used this code by MeroMero on purpose, since this is a pretty long code. I mean, if it's a short code like the ones in this post, I can just retype it, because that doesn't take much time at all. But it should be possible to paste text in the Hex code.

There should be a "special paste" or "paste as" option. If there isn't, you're using a retarded hex editor :>

Well, there isn't in the Hex Editors I tried. Which Hex Editor do you use then?

Hex Workshop

Pretty much.
This is your best bet for a free hex editor.

Also Sherry_ had the same problem too, so if he happens to drop by, this might come handy for him too.

And there was this thread too by thereturnofdoritosxD:
