Don't worry, I'm not going to release a hack with the Nintendo credits stuff removed, I just want to test the letters that weren't used, to see if they have a sound effect.

I could imagine they can be edited with HEX-editing but I don't know if it's possible to remove/add letters without causing the ROM to crash.

Do you know of the location of the text in any ROM version?

Know that I am saying this as novice hacker with virtually no knowledge of anything besides level editing, but my suggestion would be try to use the ROM file browser to locate where credits text characters are stored.

P.S; I actually did not even know there were unused letters/characters.
