I've posted the hack years ago, but in the spanish forum. Lucky that Dirbaio could "recover" the principal post xD
Maybe I'll continue it when I advance a bit more with the Pokémon hack. Well, all the levels look good, the NSMBWii tilesets, though they're starting to appear in almost every new hack, which is kinda boring, somehow fit well in your levels...but there's a thing that disappoints me in the initial phrase of your post.

Really? Your hack its almost if its not identic of Silver's hack, i use some tileset of her but i give credit and she authorize.

The thread and rips by TRS are great and much better than my own but because of this thread such tilesets become more and more worthless. It´s nothing special anymore that you have these tilesets because everybody has got them. So I use only my own rips to keep a bit of own work so I can say to myself that I´ve done something special. TRS can also say this to himself because he made great tilesets but all those hackers who only use his tilesets and don´t make own ones cannot say that to themselves. The situation is that some people call you "unoriginal" because you use tilesets from newer NSMB games. So you are only original for some people if you make own tilesets. But only few people here are able to do that. Ontopic: I cannot judge your hack by the pictures because there is almost nothing to see. The graphics are... well I think my post explained that enough now. @Arceus: Off-topic a bit, but from what I can tell from the screenshots and trailer (haven't actually played the patch), this doesn't use any of my rips. Maybe the walk-through platforms in the first picture but I doubt it. About the "unoriginal" comments that I see a lot of: completely custom NSMB-quality graphics are difficult to make (I can't do it :V) That's one of the reasons you don't see them that often. There's nothing wrong with using rips. ♪♫♩♬ |
