Hi guys.
Ray let me borrow his shyguys because they were so CUTE! <3
When i imported them.

Uh.. This happened and they acted normally but they kinda looked like a nightmare.


How do i fix it?

Importing a png file of the shyguy causes that the other palettes are overwriting itself
Ask ray for the ncg file of the shyguy and import it in l_kuribo256_ncg.bin.

I guess you just exported I_kuribo256 from NSHB and then imported it into your ROM.

You have to export the I_enemy_ palletes from NSHB and import them in your ROM, too.

The palletes of that Shy Guy are the same as the origenal, importing the png file of the Shyguy causes that they are overwritting themself with the collours of the imported png file, that explains why the Shy Guy has random collours.

Suddenly.


Red koopas were NOT affected. But Green ones were all... affected.

I can see that the shy-guys are white... is this wanted?

Also you should upload the NCG/NCL so we can have a look at it.

I was Testing a level when i found this while i was testing.


You can see the shyguys are normal but the koopas are not. Any way to fix this now?

Maybe the Shyguys change colour?


Problem. They change colour every time i load a level.

Except the Koopas. They stay corrupted.

It has different palletes for other levels.

Hmmm... If you want to prevent yourself from getting a headhache you should re-import the original obj/I_enemy.ncl files and the modified obj/I_kuribo256.ncg

Download the archive and replace the "corrupted" files with those, and then it should work.

It won't prevent NSMB editor from replacing the original files with those.

To answer your question, it's not that important, it's merely because your computer is set to open .bin files with VLC Media Player by default that's all (something you can modify easily).
