I would like some sort of hack to disable it, if that's what you mean.
If you are going to make one, thanks.

As for now, I have idea how we could skip the intro, but I planned something else. If the majority won't care, I will start doing it and showing when it's finished.

So you do care about the intro? I mean, when you start a new game, you would want to watch the intro? Well I think I will just do what I planned and ask afterwards. Makes more sense I think.

Well

Having a custom intro would be cool.
But if there's no custom intro, it would be better to have a hack to disable it than have the player watch the old intro over and over again.

At least in my opinion, the intro gets annoying because there's no way to skip it :|

Absolutely this, but I think I'm a bit biased from starting new save files to test my hack's 1-1 before I realized I could save-state on the overworld.

So here you go:
I found a way to make very advanced title screens. I can even let that shit flip, turn, bounce and whatever. I can make a fully animated titlescreen this way. No more palette and position restriction. Only polygon restriction. The only disadvantage: It will be visible all time - even in the intro. That's why I asked if the you care about the intro. In my opinion I like a great looking titlescreen more than the intro.

Another thing you can do with this (yes I put a part of my custom worldmap behind the text):

EDIT: Since the usual title screen has the highest priority (most top layer), you would have to remove the image (just transparent) so it won't cover your 3D titlescreen.

EDIT2: Here is something really stupid you can do with it:

You can see, the blue shell is animated too, that's easily fixable by making a seperate .nsbca

You're replacing a 3D model or something?

Wow! We can edit the flowers like THAT?

But it isn't a problem for me if it is in the intro too. It is funny, and nobody care if it is in the intro.

Oh lol, I forgot to explain what I did
The two flowers (pink and blue one) are 3D models. The blue one is my blue shell currently and the pink one was a mushroom thingie before. Then I replaced the pink one with my title screen model. They share the same .nsbca (that's why they are always moving a bit). So I made my own nscba and replaced it. Both are moving then, unless (I believe) I insert my own nsbca for the title screen model. Haven't tried yet, but I can also just remove the blue flower and insert the blue shell in my model but without animating it -> Same effect. Obviously we can just make plain textures being shown just like an image, but without any palette stuff

*.nsbca

I made it with the Nintendo NITRO plugins for maya, as well as the model. Currently there is no other way, since noboy yet has made own tools for creating 3D Nintendo stuff.

When you are exporting an .imd, you can check the "Options" button at the bottom right. There you can find this:
http://prntscr.com/1jki3a
I checked .ica because .ica can be converted (just like an imd) to .nsbca (PATH/g3dcvtr.exe PATH/Name.ica)

Nice!(Now I just need to learn how to animate stuff in maya )

Some cool uses would be to change the moving decorations from the over world to make something else.
(BTW, is the moving water on your custom OW is an .nsbca?)

Animating isn't hard as well, I'll explain it in a PM.

What moving decorations from overworld do you mean?
And no the water is .ita -> .nsbta (Texture animation)
