I can't play it because I get a checksum mismatch. I don't know if it is your patch or my ROM. Don't even know what region I should use. A NMP Patch would be recommended. You can make it in the NSMB Editor in the Tools tab.
From what I see in those screenshots, this hack seems to have well designed levels.

I had a similar issue, so I renamed the rom file to New Super Mario Bros DS. and that worked for me. though I don't actually know the problem here. |

Either I used a wrong ROM or my ROM is corrupted.
 I was using an U ROM.
