Hi there!! I'm making a hack called Crazy Super Mario Bros, (CSMB)...

Uh... Can you put the screen shots in the uploader please beacuse tinypic images you will also enjoy is gross (Not trying to backseat moderate but it is gross). And other then that it looks aawesome so far!

Is it me or this post makes no sense?

Also, I'd prefer it if you put the images as [img] tags instead of linking them.

Those are AR codes, not to be confused with hacks. Some little idiots name their videos of AR codes "hacks" because they think that owning that device makes them 1337h4xx0rs. A hack is when you modify the ROM, AR codes modify the RAM at runtime.

I have to say that the level design makes it too hard. Like, falling platforms: if you go back, you're stuck.

Camera issues make it even worse, especially in 1-2.

And corrupt HUD graphics and such...

There are also places where you can't see if you're jumping in the void or not. Not cool.

The minigoomba rain in 1-2 is a nice effect, but if you're Mini Mario, it's really unfair.

Oh and 1-2 can't be completed. What's apparently supposed to be a vine at the end, behaves like a solid wall, keeping you from reaching the flagpole.


Otherwise, there are some interesting ideas in this hack. Like the rainbow flower.

Ok, thanks for the issues and bugs you found. And in 1-2 the wine, for me it acts like a normal wine. I'll try to fix it.
Oh gosh, 1-2 is giving me a headache...

This teaches you an important lesson: releasing untested content is bad.

Also, the collision behavior issue might be because I imported the patch into an EUR ROM. This is made for USA ROMs isn't it?

Also another advice: write down every single bug that you find.
Oh, I forgot to say it! I'm using it on a U rom, and maybe that's the problem.

There shouldn't be any problems with the collision, if you patch an EUR ROM with a patch made for U ROMs.

It could be that  MiguelMML is using save states in the emulator. That could be the problem.

Looks kinda random. It works fine for me. But I'll change it.
Also I created a tileset that is in development.

It's going to be in World 4. It isn't finished yet, any suggestions??

I think they need shading. They look really simple as of now.

Yeah, through giving the tileset shading it will suit much better to NSMB.
Also make the grass more irregular. After doing that right, it could turn out in a really nice tileset.
