Ok so lets say I want to make a track for Mario Kart DS right
so I open blender
do the stuff
put the textures stuff like that
export as an IMD
convert it
get the files and put them in the game
check mario kart toolbox to make sure no funny business is going on
open mkds
and all the textures are black
this is an issue ive been having and been trying to fix for 2 days (to no avail obv)
last time i had this issue i switched some textures around and it worked like a charm but its not working this time sooooo

Your textures might be running out of VRAM.

Try using smaller textures (i.e. 32x32 or 64x64) or different compression formats (4x4, 16 colors etc.)

make sure that when you export from blender you are in object mode with nothing selected

You could also use a smaller skybox texture (if it's 256x128, you can use a 256x64 or a 128x128 one), which can effectively help saving VRAM space
