Alright, got a smidge of an issue. I have taught myself a long time ago how to do entrances and stuff. I've made several working pipes throughout making NSMBU DS and New-ish. I am making an airship level (spoilers!) and an entrance will not work. Let me explain:
This is level 8-Castle by the way, so there's only 2 areas. The boss is in area 2, as well as the whole airship level. I originally had a pipe cannon from a castle in area 1, with the castle background. (So the boss music will play.) The pipe cannon shot Mario up a warp entrance. And a had a jumping entrance in area 2 in the airship part of the level. When I first made this part to test, it worked fine. Mario jumped on to this one little airship platform. I added some enemies and more objects to the course. Now, when Mario hits the warp, the black screen appears and doesn't load the 2nd area. Why? I double checked the settings and they were fine. I even remade these entrances with pipes and still doesn't work. Is there anything I can do to fix this? _________________________  Discord Server 1 - Discord Server 2 - Youtube Channel |

this happened to me as well are one of the entrances not right if they are try searching a video on them that what i did to try to find a solution hope this help

make a dupe of your level, and remove sprites little by little until it works.

I deleted all the sprites and the game still froze. Maybe because the boss is in the same area?
Edit: There's something weird going on here. First thing I did was delete the sprites, then ground, and all that. Maybe music? Tried that. Tileset is fine. Backdrop is fine. So I copied everything to the first area and everything worked. I replaced the W8 castle background with a purple sky, so hopefully the boss music will play. Now comes the new issue. The boss. I didn't do anything to the boss arena except changing the tileset. The entrance is still the same. When I go through the boss door, nothing. Black screen. It's got to be something wrong with area 2.
