its most likely an image but you can test by using a tileset that replaces the normal tower and castle tilesets and see if it changes if not then it is and image and i am not sure what file it is

Its a titleset but it isn't in the editors list so you'll have to find it in the file browser. Might be listed on one of the wiki filelists.
