I have an original 3ds (Teal) and Ds Lite (Red).

The charger port on the 3ds is broken and demands that I use the dock, and the circle pad is wonky and sometimes thinks
I'm holding the down button when I'm just tapping it that way. Also, there's a hole in the lower shell from dropping it on the stylus.

A long time ago, something happened to the Ds Lite and the hinge got broken & didn't click into one place. Then one time I dropped it and the broken part of the hinge got even more broken and popped out, leaving the upper screen to swivel around on the left hinge. I "tried" to see if I could fix it and didn't get very far. When I turned the system back on, the screens were weird and wouldn't display properly.

Since Nintendo doesn't do repairs on either of these devices anymore, and I clearly don't know how to repair these devices, does anyone know where I can go to get these repaired for a relatively low price?

I guess the only chance you got are nearby game shops or DIY. It's just not worth repairing those devices for any larger store.

I mean you can get a used DS for 30€ and an first version 3ds for 60€ on ebay here. Though DS systems are not that hard to open or replace parts. You can find those on ebay. But if you really want to replace all the broken things on your 3ds it's porbably cheaper to just get a new one.

I have a blue and black DS Lite I got for my 8th Birthday back in 2009. Dropped it a couple times, and the same hinge broke and the whole top screen was being held by the left hinge only. The screen still worked and we'd put a cut piece of straw in the hinge to hold it. After awhile, the screen stopped working and I got the DSi in 2011.

Just try it. More than breaking the thing can't happen to you

Also there is this:
