The chance the old uploader will come back is.. let's say, zero. The uploader on http://nsmbhd.net isn't that great either, since it causes weird double-post-bugs.

So I recommend we'll discuss here about an alternative for NSMBHD's uploader.

IMO, it would be great if the new uploader can have different categories, e.g. Tools, NSMB Hacks etc., like the old uploader also had.

How do you even upload to there? I still just use imgur, as I never worked it out.

But we ain't gonna get it back. How long has it been that we had it? I think we should stop hoping for Dirbaio to bring it back and move on to another website or something. Or we could just make an exact replica of the old uploader if there's someone here with a server. The site of ABXD is gone, but you can still find the page with (still working?) download links using WebArchive.org.




Yeah, I got him on Fb. But I don't feel like start nagging to him overthere about something 90% of the board has already nagged him about earlier. Plus, I don't think he'll change his mind. He's not that into this forum anymore anyway. :{

Move to another board because the uploader is not working/existing? That isn't a good idea.
Most boards don't even have an uploader.

Just dump all of your files that you want to share into your dropbox and share the links. That's easy as well.

This dropbox-idea is just the same as NSMBHD's current uploader. On both, we can't see back our uploaded files. Or, well, on a dropbox, you can see your own files, but not all files shared on the board. And that's actually the whole point of this thread. Most people want something similar to the old uploader. You need two things for that:

1.) One uploader for all NSMBHD members.
2.) The possibility to organise the uploaded files in different categories (Hacks, images, tools etc.).

The ability to delete your uploaded files from the uploader does not work. The checkbox to delete your file is greyed out, but I can select the checkbox at the top to delete all the files from the list. I tried on multiple Internet browsers, and the result was the same.

If I knew that deleting your files was impossible, I would not have uploaded in the first place because now I have an update to my tileset and do not want an old version actively floating around after an update has been released.

This is intentional. I disabled it because people were abusing the feature, causing broken links and images.

If you release an update for your tileset/hack/whatever, you can upload a new version and update the link in your posts.
