On the sprite list Sprite 254 = Kab-omb. Just something that I've noticed many times.

I think I know why is it named Falling Rocks. I think it also contains the falling lava rocks from world 8-8.
I've renamed it to Falling rocks, Kab-omb. |

But the falling rocks appears only with the right BG
See a lots of creative DS Hacking here You can set the right BG and DON'T add the rocks sprite and they will fall, too.
