hello
 I do not know if you if this thread has been posted in the right place, I'm still looking for someone who is good at hacking so it can be part of a hacking team. when I'm alone and therefore I can not finish in time my hack. anyone who wanted to team up with me can write to me in a private message.

Perhaps I can. I think I may be able to be part of this mico Team. But what areas of hacking do mean? Tilesets? Graphics? Levels? Music? Or everything? And this is for Newer Super Mario Bros. Special, right?

Wait, there's more than one hack you're working? If you were referring to the 3DS sequel, then no, I'm not into 3DS hacking. I guess I'll work with you on Newer SMB Special in all areas, I think.

However, your title screen looks really nice, you may have potential. Perhaps you should make your own hack instead. |

I'm pretty sure there's a tutorial. The search function is your friend. Don't ask in random threads. If there isn't a tutorial, just make a thread to ask or post in the questions thread. Also, AFAIK, music hacking is pretty hard, especially for a beginner, so unless you really want to do music hacking, or already have experience, you might not want to try that just yet.

Depends what you mean by "change the tileset".
Can't help unless you go into details. Posted by mico I seeking a helper to help me with my 3rd hack (New Super Mario bros.U ds) I'd advise you not to try making a NSMBU remake. In all honesty I wanted to play NSMBU, I'd play NSMBU, not some DS remake. In other words, there's no real point. Making your own levels is also more fun and less tedious than replicating Nintendo's. Plus there would be the issue with NSMBU sprites. |
