A couple other things I thought I'd add, so you don't have to make another new version later on:

-Blue mini mushroom toad houses acquired w/ double-digit finishing time don't despawn after use
-The red pipe at the end of the W8 2nd tower crashes the game (lost my progress from 8-5 to 8-8, lol)

Played on R4 DS, wood bg.

Thank you for that support to improve this hack!
1. I fixed the boos fight, it shouldn't be possible anymore
2. Yeah, I think I won't change anything there
3. I try to rebuild that part
4. That's not really fixable. But hey, you've got infinite mini mushrooms
5. Really? o.O That's really strange because it's just a normal pipe and on an emulator it doesn't crash

Version 2.2 - The Bugfix Update

This is maybe the last update because it fixes all bugs I found during my Let's Play which is finished now.
It also includes some improvements.

But I know for sure that I won't "try" .nmp files because they don't support ASM-Hacks (if you even know what that is).

We don't do this for a few reasons. At first it is illegal. We cannot distribute copyrighted material. All non public domain ROMs contain intellectual property owned by their creators. Nintendo, Sega, Capcom, etc... own the characters, game data, and code contained in a ROM. Freely distributing this data is illegal and we wish to abide by the law on this site so we don't get shut down and can continue to provide the services we do for you. Besides archiving patches it allows authors to get credit for the work they have done and provides the ability to keep track of versions. In addition, many patch authors do not want their work distributed in illegal packages. We don't wish to get patch authors in trouble due to independent actions from individuals like you.
Distributing a patch is perfectly legal.

Hopefully this clears things up for you.

I'm currently playing your hack right now (halfway through world 4) and I've noticed three big issues that should be brought to your attention:


- In 2-Tower, there is considerable slowdown and sprites visually disappearing in the section after the midway point with the rotating platforms and the dry bones. I'm not certain what causes this. If it matters, I am playing using a DSTwo on a 3DS.

- There are a few situations where the player is not given enough leniency in learning a level's gimmick or a puzzle. Notable for this is 2-Castle, in which the ? switch at the beginning of the level is implied to be what destroys the blocks leading to the next part of the level. Not only is it not the solution to the puzzle, it serves no purpose whatsoever. In addition, the actual solution (lifting up a goomba and stomping it) is easy to mess up and you must kill yourself to try again if you fail.

- Also in 2-Castle, in the section with the roulette block, entering this section while mini causes the player to jump too high when entering and you get trapped in the wall.

Try it with a non-SDHC card if you aren't using one.

A small fix/improvement update due to this post.

Changelog
- 2-Castle puzzle is easier to understand
- 2-Castle Bonus Area is fixed for Mini-Mario
- Found missing coins in 6-2
- Redesigned starting area in 6-2
- Challenge Mode isn't available anymore
- a few adjustments
