Review: This is the hack in a nutshell:
So let's get started on why this hack is bad! The first level is boring! A blatant edit of the 1-1 stage. Level 2 is worse! Just another blatant edit. Level 3 was way better, but that's not saying much. Level 4 is also better, but still bad. Also look at this screenshot: Yeah, the ropes are messed up. 1-4 was okay, but it could been better. However, that stage looks familiar. 1-5 made me want to pull my hair out! The first obstacle is tedious. Jumping on one stone block to the next, without hitting the ceiling and falling to your death. Also this mushroom... That darn mushroom made me die so many times, I got a gameover, I used savesates after that. Now you guys are not going to believe the castle stage.... It is the castle stage from SKjmin's NSMB3 Castle. Not to be backseat or anything but you shouldn't steal people's levels. And that stage made me rage quit, because if I wanted to play that stage... I would play the NSMB3 Hack. Also, use patches when you release hacks, not roms they are illegal. I have not played World 2, but I guess it's worse. So here is my newer final verdict: Graphics: Unorginal and unfitting Entertainment: Facepalmed the entire game. Quality: Painful Hack Scale 2/10 Worst Hack of all time. Now like I said, do not be scared! I'm not trying to offend you or anything. But just know that, hacks like these are not good. This is the worst NSMB hack I have ever played. This makes the SMW Hack, Hammer Brother by blackout77 look like a masterpiece. Atleast blackout put in some orginal levels and the levels are more boring than awful. (yet some stages start kazioing the heck out of you). There's still efforts put in this (even if it looks like the hack author made the hack for his own fun at first, and then decided to post it), and the levels are still way better compared to some of certain hack of yours'. |

many thierry and if accurate because I did just this for my fun and I wanted to Share in this forum, do not try to break the rules or stealing its ideas from you geniuses, (I do not include newhacksboy he is not a genius or anything) if not to try to revive the best hacks of history, and at least I hope my serve hack idea for more geniuses and make my hack hack better or at least my idea out other more ingenious idea (not I say mine is)

Also SKjmin was porting Super Mario Bros 3. to NSMB. And everything was similar. No levels from the original NSMB or stolen from other hacks. And you are supposed to make orginal levels if you want your hacks accepted on the site. Also the "Alice and Wonderland stolen idea" was inspiration! Not ripping off, inspiration! Like I said earlier, it was my opinion. There could be people who would like this hack, but I just don't. Heck the Admin (Dirbaio) and the others agree with me on that! Yes I get it! A hack that is so random it breaks the rules. Now I can accept it if it was on another website, but here? Where we have hacks like Clone Tag Team and the upcoming Newer DS? Look at those hacks! They are way better then this. Even the bad SMW Hack, Hammer Brother was way better! I have nothing more to say right now. aaron_777, I'm not trying to make look bad, I'm just trying to say your hack is. You are so lucky that the admins just don't move this thread (don't know why) because actually shit like this would get deleted. Why did he send you a PRIVATE Message? Right, because it's PRIVATE. exact I agree with you arceus not have to post a private message, I'm fighting with a child, I did not want to fight, just fight back of the reviews of this person and I at no time disrespects the well of nowhere I started attacking me for no reason, maybe it is envy because I do have creative or not, but hey agree that deleted my post because this person already ruined their comments without rationale, soon I will create another and will do my utmost to hack up better, and in this forum deveria be reversed, Deveria support eachother alos not attacking each other because at the end we all look the same, which is to create the best hack the world to share with the world and also have fun all

It's considered as a bad hack because it's lame and because it's author thinks challenge has way greater importance than level quality. You should focus more on level quality, [you can use Nintendo or even NewerSMB's levels as examples of good level] and try not to remake too much, making your own levels is cooler and funnier. Plus, people are actually tired of remakes. If they want to replay the old levels, they can still play the old games. |

if it is, my idea is not to steal ideas, but mix several Marios series one, something like the brutal mario world hack, this hacker mix several games in one, and that was my intention, and I personally love the remake, because revive the old games and that makes me remember my childhood, but because everyone has their own opinion and I respect yours, I will try to follow your advice and create my own hack and as thanks for all your advice and greetings
